We all know just how stressful and detail-oriented wedding planning can get. And yet, there are things you should always keep in mind and be prepared for. What are some of the most common wedding pitfalls? We have gathered 4 for you to keep in mind – so read on if you want to find out more.
• Having too many wedding programs. Don’t spend your money on too many wedding programs. Truth be told, most of the guests will not even pick one and those who come in groups or with their families will pick only one wedding program for the entire group.
• Not having some space for the gifts you receive at the ceremony. Chances are that there will be at least a couple of guests who will bring their gifts at the ceremony. Make sure to arrange a special place for them to place their gifts – otherwise, they may be very uncomfortable throughout the ceremony.
• Not having a backup plan. Hoping that it will be sunny will not necessarily make it so. Remind yourself to create an adequate backup plan to use in case it rains (such as pulling up some tents or moving the wedding indoors).
• Not having enough seats. Keep in mind that it is very likely that there will be latecomers at the ceremony – and they will probably not want to disturb the entire ceremony to reach those extra empty seats. Have at least 10% more empty seats at the ceremony to avoid this kind of awkward moment for your guests.
